Ashanti Accommodation

Every single room at Ashanti Lodge Gardens has had a major make-over with new beds, linen, carpets and blinds as well as new plumbing and new paint. Each person staying with us now has access to their own digital safe which is available free of charge. 

The accommodation options on offer feature everything from camping and dormitory style rooms to doubles/twins and singles with shared facilities as well as stylish rooms with private bathrooms. A twin room will have two single beds whereas a double room has just one double bed. The majority of the en-suite rooms (with private bathrooms) are in our Guest Houses around the corner in Union Street.

En-suite double/twin/triple rooms

We have great double en-suite rooms that are fully serviced daily with fresh towels supplied. All of these rooms also have individual electronic safes for your added security. These rooms are located in the Ashanti Guesthouses situated three minutes walk from the main building. Some of them are huge. Click on the thumbnail images of the Guesthouses to view more detail.

Standard double/twin rooms

Most of these rooms are around our swimming pool - perfect for an early morning wake up dip. All rooms have their own basins and there are sufficient nearby bathrooms for your use. A double is equipped with a double bed and a twin room has two single beds. Boring we know, but necessary information for some!

Single

All single rooms have double beds so should you like to spread out while you sleep - this is the way to go!

Dormitories

We have 6 and 8 bed dorms. The dorms are mixed although we do have a couple of girlie dorms. All dorms have specially designed wrought iron bunk beds that have lockers built into them for your added security.  We now also offer individual reading lights, white fluffy duvets and don’t forget about those individual digital safes!

Camping

For those of you who just love the outdoors and carry your home on your back, no need to come in as we have a small campsite just for you. Obviously, you can make use of all the lodge facilities but please bear in mind that it is just a small piece of ground and space is limited.  No reservations for the campsite permitted – first come, first served.
