The trip begins at 10h00 from Kleinbaai 2km from the village of Gansbaai, 43 km from Hermanus and 160km from Cape Town. You board the luxury 36tr catamaran "Predator 2" for the 7km voyage to Dyer Island.

Your trip is 5-6 hours and will return at 15h00 in the afternoon. Our shuttle service can provide passengers with one way and return transfer from Cape Town.

The cage is of the floating variety and is custom made using 12mm galvanised steel mesh. The cage floats right next to the boat to enable the driver to climb in and out easily. The diving equipment is supplied free of charge and at least snorkelling experience is required for cage divers. Divers have approximately

30 min in the cage depending on weather conditions. If the conditions are favourable they may dive again.

Our costs for a Shark charter will be a R1,450p/p including breakfast, light lunch, drinks, snacks throughout the day and transport. Food and drinks are inclusive in the price.

The boat and operation is monitored by South African Marine Safety Association. This ensures that our guests experience the most spectacular Great White Shark viewing and diving in complete safety.
