With the world made up by 90% water, it would be a shame not to utilize such a large playground. Learn to ride the wave dude! That elusive sport reserved only for those lucky few - Not so! These tours will get you off the beach and onto a board.

Absolute beginners will be taught the basics of surfing: paddling out, reading the wave, catching a wave and how to control your body weight to stand-up. The boards used are Mini Mals (Long boards); these boards are light, stable, and ideal for learning to surf.

Provided are trained surf instructors with a passion for sharing their sport. Beginners are given the opportunity to learn this solo sport in a safe and friendly atmosphere.

After the course, the fresh surfer will gain the confidence to strike out and hit the waves on his or her own. Choose between one-day courses and multi-day courses at the finest beaches in Cape Town with waves not to overwhelm but ideal for learning.
